Hello,
These past moon days have been very crisp and clear, so i managed to accumulate 19 hours worth of Ha data on IC434/B33 (The Horse head) nebula.
I pushed my CGEM mount guiding at 0.1 secs/frame using PHD2 for 30mins subs and it seemed to handle the weight of the C11 and the 1700mm f.l. very well.
So here is a quick processing of the Horse Head Nebula in Ha. Next i will take color images and blend the Ha with the red channel.
Technical details:
Mount: CGEM
OTA: C11@F6.1 1705mm
Camera: QHY12: 38x30min (19hrs), Ha 12nm Filter
Guide: PHD2, with a LodeStar at 0.1 seconds per frame.
